Unfortunately with our last release, and its instability, we were forced to roll back releases. Unfortunately in doing so, it would seem that our notification system has been broken somehow. Our engineers are working on this issue as quickly as possible. We hope to have a patch within the next day, so we can deploy our code and fix the notification system at the same time. Please *bear* with us ;)
Currently all notifications are being queued up so they can be processed as soon as the fix is pushed and verified to be working correctly.
Thank you,
Bento #6

It was a bit weird really. Japanese Potato Salad, inarizushi with spicy mayo and prawns and mange tout with sweet chilli and lime. Too much mayo!

Falafel, a tiny cucumber, carrots and two different candies in the foreground. Homemade potato salad on lettuce in the background.

If I am to pull this calendar thing off, I need YOUR input. Ideas to what else I can make is more than welcome! As are comments in general ;)

But for the sake of change, I decorated the noodles with a little forest (all zucchini).
In the other box are some mini pumpernickel sandwiches, another salad with a dressing pig and a fruit bowl with physalis, grapes and pear.

In honor of National AIDS Awareness month, we've added a new charitable vgift. For each red ribbon you purchase for $2.99, we'll donate 100 percent of gross proceeds to IAVI.org (the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative) to support the development and global distribution of an affordable HIV vaccine (we'll cover credit card fees). You can read more about IAVI at
lj_cares. While we're on the subject, we raised $740 from our November fundraiser for Love Without Boundaries, which supports emergency healthcare and adoption of Chinese orphans. We thank you for helping us help others.

Curtains
Thanks, again, for joining us. Stay safe and snug out there!

Top: red bell peppers, beans and rice
Bottom: turkey salad sandwich
I was reluctant to do a sandwich bento, since part of the reason I got into bento-making in the first place was to pack more of a variety of foods in my lunches, but I still do like sandwiches. I think this one came out okay, but as I was packing it, I wished that I had something green to stick in between the sandwich pieces. I think that really would have made it pop. Alas, no green veggies in my fridge. But perhaps this means I'm starting to think like a bento artist?
Bento #4
As we have december now, there are some self-made cookies and christmas-tree- and star-shaped- carrots.

The smaller box is left over noodles with carrots and zucchini.
The bigger box is salad with a dressing pig, fruit salad (physalis and grapes) and the cookies.
